Ibiza; The Perfect Destination for Power Couple’s

Ibiza; The Perfect Destination for Power Couple’s

It’s no secret that during the summer months, the rich and famous all flock to Ibiza to see and to be seen…

…enjoy the beautiful beaches and let their hair down at some of the most exclusive parties on the White Isle.

Many of the elite society actually own properties on the island, making Ibiza a permanent place to retreat to throughout the summer and secretly during the low-season too.

Power couple Shakira & Gerard Piqué own a luxury apartment in the ‘Life Marina Ibiza’ development, where other footballers including Carles Puyol and David Villa also own property.

The island attracts a huge list of other power couples including George Clooney and wife Amal, Kim and Kanye, and Beyonce and Jay-Z, who can usually be spotted aboard a yacht close to some of the trendiest beaches of Ibiza such as Ses Salines and Cala Jondal.

Last year Hollywood’s most beautiful power couple Michael Fassbender & Alicia Vikander tied the knot in Ibiza, and had their pre-wedding lunch at Yemanja Beach Club (Cala Jondal), before holding a private ceremony in a secluded villa.

So, whilst Ibiza may not be known for being a romantic escape, it certainly attracts many young power couples, who find the Island to be an enriching experience, taking advantage of the relaxed Balearic lifestyle, enjoying the endless list of activities on offer, as well as finding new inspiration from the beautiful surroundings.

It becomes obvious then that Ibiza would begin to see a rise in business conferences for extraordinary people held on the island, particularly during the low season, away from the bustling tourism the summer season brings whilst the island is slower paced, offering total tranquility.

In recent years conferences such as the ‘Forum of Entrepreneurs Ingenion’, the ‘The Oral Surgery and Implantology Congress’, the NOVEM conference, the A-Fest ‘Love & Relationships’ event, have all been held on the island.

More recently some cryptocurrency events have taken place including the ‘Futurama Blockchain Innovators Summit’ and the ‘Ibiza Crypto Conference’. So it’s clear to see that wintertime in Ibiza is a great place to network and meet other like-minded entrepreneurial couples and individuals.

You’re invited to join us at our next event ‘Love & Money’, the art of balancing ‘success’ in both private and business relationships. Step out of your daily routine and boost your creativity. Disconnect in a stunning setting, find new inspiration and boost your business to the next level.

But with so many to choose from, it’s hard to know where to try during your stay…so we’ve done the hard work for you and rounded up our top 4 places to dine in 2018.

If you’ve visited Formentera, of course you know the infamous Beso Beach Club, the place oozes laid back class and offers delicious Spanish, Mediterranean and Greek food which is fantastic if you’re headed over to Formentera, but if you’re not we’re pleased to inform that this summer we’ve seen the opening of Beso Beach Ibiza join the white sandy shores of Las Salinas on Ibiza Southernmost tip.

The restaurant brand has continued with its all-natural décor in their new spot, they offer the same style menu for lunch and dinner, as well as sunbeds on the beach to the front of the establishment to lounge on throughout the day, whist you sip on their delicious cocktails.

Up and coming Santa Eulalia is fast becoming a spot to be seen with its offering of luxury hotels in the area. Chiringuito Blue’s Cuisine is described as Mediterranean Greek fusion which seems to be on the rise in Ibiza at the moment.

Summer has officially landed

…the sun is shining and temperatures are rising!

What to do? Decisions… decisions!

First up on our list is the ever impressing Saga at Heart Ibiza in the modern Marina Botafoch. Saga is bringing the sound of Bedouin, the Brooklyn based production & DJ partnership, that has a dedicated weekly home in Ibiza this season; every Sunday from the end of May until the end of September in the most avant-garde venue on the island.

Saga is their vision for an artistic experience that transcends music and indulges all senses with incredible light shows, magnificent production and sublime music.

Acid Sundays held at Las Dalias Hippy Market on the San Carlos Road, heading towards the North of the island is the most authentic outdoor place in Ibiza, being one of the original hangouts of the hippy influx to the island back in the 70s.

As with previous years, Acid Sundays will take over and transform the place with vibrant colours, performers and eclecticism. The event runs from 18hr until midnight every Sunday throughout the summer.

Acid Sundays continues to surprise tourists and locals with its amazing set up delivering the ultimate evening of expression and the most psychedelic sound on the Island, this new sound goes well beyond techno and house.  This emblematic party sets out a total connection with the island’s roots, absorbing its aesthetics, magic, sound and freedom to create an experience unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Woomoon at Cova Santa is described as a party of a journey. A hidden gem on the quiet San Jose Road, this event is described as love; an experience that goes deeper; a story that intends to stay with you forever.

An immersive fusion of art, food, drink and tribal dance music, Woomoon has immediately struck a chord with discerning ravers seeking a spiritual alternative to big room Ibiza. Some have even likened Woomoon to Burning Man, albeit on a much smaller scale. This is a really unusual and eclectic party that is absolutely not to be missed.

On a slightly different track, is Children of the 80s which encapsulates memories, long nights and a spectacular era in music. It celebrates everything fun, vibrant and colourful from those past years.

Children of the 80’s is a popular themed event, which offers a spectacular stage, visual shows, punched out photocalls, and break dancers who perform catchy choreography while interacting with the public creating a euphoric environment which is always fun. The performances truly complement the artists and help you get right back into the 80’s magic.

Not sure all the partying is for you? Looking for something a little calmer?

In which case, we simply cannot recommend Ibiza’s very own outdoor cinema ‘Cinema Paradiso’ enough! Striving to create the perfect setting to experience film on your own, with friends or with family, Cinema Paradiso is a welcome change from the typical Ibiza party scene.

Events are being held throughout the summer at Amante Beach Club, Nobu Hotel ‘Ibiza Bay’ or the historical Dalt Vila to name a few.
